Was approached by Ted today asking me if I am seriously considering being a trainer for L and D. Asked for my application but since my CM is not in, the job bid form was not filled out completely. Anyone I talked to told me I'd do well but I am now having doubts after speaking with hubby. He's right. Shifting schedule. Multi site. How am I going to deal with that? How will he deal with that? I am not the only person in this relationship. I am not the only one who matters in this family. I've always wanted to be trainer. I feel I'd be best there. I'd like to leave feedback on your branch at SM Megamall. I was there yesterday with my husband. There were quite a lot of people dining but not completely full. We ordered our food and milk tea and waited. After 10-15 minutes, we got our food. Because there were quite a bit of people, we understood that there would be some delay so we waited some more. After about 10 minutes and after seeing that 2 other groups who ordered after us already have their drinks, I called the attention of a staff member and motioned to her that our drinks are not there yet (they did not even provide us water, we had to ask, so we were eating without drinks). I then asked her if they forgot about our drink order and she lied to my face "hindi po nandun na po nakapila lang po" so I said "so bakit nakuha na nung 2 groups yung sa kanila when we got here and ordered first?" That silenced her. It took another 5 minutes for our drinks to be served and I know why that was. I got up and saw that they just started mixing our drinks further proving that they completely forgot about it.

This incident is so disappointing in many ways because:

1. Your staff member LIED, I hate liars. A simple apology about forgetting the drinks would have sufficed.

2. Jollibee had customers packed like sardines and they were attended to well. I imagine that an establishment like yours who charge so much more than a fast food restaurant should have better service. That is part of what customers pay for anyway and why we chose to eat there rather than brave the fast food crowd.

3. Your staff does not know when to anticipate a customer's need. We had food to eat and they could not even provide us with water when it was THEIR FAULT our drinks were not there yet? We really have to ask?

Your Megamall branch is deteriorating in terms of Customer service, This is not the first time I encountered something like this. Even with 3 people ordering, your staff always looks panicky for no reason at all. I am sorely disappointed and feel that I would have been so much better off eating at a local carinderia seeing as how attentive and adaptive to the ever changing customer capacity they are.

After the initial shock of finding out that SOMEONE prevented me from being a Heartbeat supervisor, I accepted it and gave my Starpod agents my all. Didn't bother bearing any grudges as it would do me no good.

But now I'm done. I quit. It is not fair to be held accountable for things that will happen while I am away especially when PROPER endorsement has been made. I am not learning anything new anymore as I should be. It is not fair that I was, eventhough this person did not mean to, made me feel bad and so guilty for going on leave for my daughter.

I'm done. I quit. Welcome me back stress free agent days as by tomorrow I will ensure my letter of intent is received by HR so that by next week I will be an agent again.

Once again the last quarter of the year. All my favorite tv shows will start new seasons, my Danabear's birthday. All in September. I have 2 consecutive 4 days off due to birthdays! Yipeeee! Approved!

So, I had my 30 days after OCC talk with my agents yesterday after shift. It was very personal and I know I can trust them with the information I gave them. I hope that it continues to inspire them to take a negative and turn it around. Today was a very good day. Their focus and drive were dead on. They listened. I made an impact. I hope that impact helps them and I hope they feed from it and accelerate their careers. Oh what a proud momma I will be once I've gotten rid of all them coz of promotion. They all have such potential.

Anyway, I dunno why I'm still up. Hay. So excited to see our CTS results tomorrow.

Yesterday I was with some friends hanging out and watching movies. We talked about work and how our cluster now has our agents do their own DDAs on top of us supervisors doing them as well. A friend (and my agent) told me that a cluster mate mentioned that it's not her agents job to do that but ours implying that we are passing over our own jobs to our agents. MANIGAS KA TEH ha! If you don't like our action plan then don't freaking execute it! But don't go acting like we aren't doing our jobs! BITCH!

So I'm told I was officially a regular supervisor since July 3rd. I was also told that some things happened that week that I didn't even know were happening. Don't wanna think about them now but I just feel so flattered after hearing what my ACM told me. All my hard work and dedication. My passion to my job. It has all paid off. I have such awesome cluster mates who have become a second family. We look out for each other and our ACM has built such a wonderful atmosphere for us. I miss Biankydoodles so much but I am so happy that she is doing something that will not stress my soon to be god child out. My team, well, we are forming a bond that's not forced just because we are team mates. We're taking it slowly, letting it come naturally so that it sticks. Then comes a buddy cluster where I have a close supervisor friend in and where I found my surrogate father. I tease him and call him turtle but he knows I love him. He knows how much I appreciate how he takes care of us when our own mother is on RD.

I am so happy that I stayed with this company. I have been given a chance to grow and be a success without needing to compromise who I am. I'm blessed. Great family. Great job. Nothing else to ask for.

Disappointment Night

Sumo Sam at ShangriLa Mall was so not worth it. Lighting was good but that was about it. Food was below average, didn't even finish what I ordered due to the taste. The waiters? Well, they are just so damn self centered. They don't cater to customers need in an efficient manner. Over all, just a bad bad bad experience.

Then came the movie. What the hell is up with showing product commercials? Everyone knows people come in early for trailers and not for the freaking commercials!!! The movie itself was blah. I expected more from the FINAL movie of the series. I guess I should not have read the book. I was not blown away.

There's this agent who seriously needs a FACT check. He was under my supervision for almost 3 months. He loves his former supervisor and was never open to the idea of having me as his new superior. I didn't mind, we win some and lose some right? I coached him as much as needed. Gave him his space. He's a disrespectful asshole.

He files for a weekend VL merely 3 weeks before said date. A week from those dates, because he got impatient, he bypassed me, my ACM, my CM and my AM and spoke directly with the Directress regarding his VL to which the Directress responded by personally asking WFM for an explanation. Those VLs were rejected. Of course they would be, it is first come first serve. A concept he does not seem to understand. He always claims to know and be CLOSE to people from the top management like the directress and a former ACCM who was been assigned to manage a different site in Vietnam. SO WHAT? So agent was absent on days of supposed VL. Did not call nor send SMS. I posted IR leading to an endorsement. He comes back with a medical certificate for SKIN ASTHMA, something I also have so I know full well that I do not need to stay home because of it. I showed the med cert to my ACM, no advise for bed rest (DUH! Who the hell would since it is just skin asthma?) making it invalid and the EAFs a go. Agent is endorsed. He chooses to resign. Good riddance!

Agent is now BITTER. Claiming if former supervisor had not left them, original team would still be intact. First 4 people to go were taken from me due to their STATS WITH PREVIOUS SUP, remember that I have been with them for less than a month to a little over a month when they were transferred to pitstop. Pitstop takes into consideration year to date stats of agent so HELLO! Not my fault. Next was due to NCNS. No communication at all regarding absence, what was I to do? Tolerate it? Next was HIM (THANK HEAVENS!). Next was transferred to a different account due to having high AHT, again due to YEAR to DATE stats. Next was for ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY of Call Avoidance, again, do I condone that? NO. Another one just endorsed for Call Avoidance. Another transferred to be saved from losing a job also due to call avoidance.

WAS THAT WHAT THE PREVIOUS SUPERVISOR TAUGHT THEM? I do not think so! They chose their own behavior. HE CHOOSES TO BLAME ME. Go live in your dream land little boy. Any way you twist it, YOU STILL END UP THE LOSER. You're an overgrown, ENGLISH HANDICAPPED ugly asshole! Where are you now? DID YOUR FRIENDS FROM THE TOP MANAGEMENT SAVE YOU? Are you really even friends or was that part of your wonderland? I THINK SO! Keep dreaming for it's only in your dreams where you're a performer. In the real world, you are a WORLD CLASS LOSER.

Finally...A Day Off

I never thought I could have one! Hahaha! Finally, a day off. Have not had one in 2 weeks so this is extra super special for me! I'm watching my dvds. Eating eating eating! Lucky I don't have to care about being thin coz hubby likes me chunky. Hahahahahaha! Things have been stressful at work but I like it. I like the challenge. It keeps me on my toes and it gives me a sense of pride when I accomplish what needs to be done not only for myself but for my clustermates. I'm learning a lot from my ACCM. She really is great and is so TOPS compliant. I'll be just that someday. Still lots to learn but I never ever set a goal that I can't achieve. I'll be getting a silver and gold pin because of my TOPS exams! LAVEEEETTT!

Overtime

Yesterday a fellow supervisor told me my team will extend 30 minutes because of high call volume. I told him I'd ask. My team does not want to due to the fact that they are rarely able to do things because we are always on the 10-7 shift. We go home at 4 once a week and that supervisor wants to take it away. I understand the business needs but I am here to look after my agents. I will not take whatever weekend happening they have planned from them. After all, not even their VLs get approved. We never get weekends (even one) off. Why not let them live their life? They deserve it.

Not Enough

I don't miss deadlines. I do all my packets. I submit what needs submitting when they ask. I answer when they want an answer. I do what other cluster mates don't. I CARE for my agents. Am I doing everything I said on my interview that I would do once a supervisor? YES. Did I tell them that my first priority will always be my child? YES. Am I being given a crappier than crap schedule? YES. Midshift with no weekends off. So I request for a better one. They tell me they can't control it. They don't give me other options. I think of stepping down. I FIND AN OPTION under law. Then I find out that one of the people I look up to the most think that I am a mistake, because I am requesting for my right as a solo parent. I've cried too much for this company more than I should have and I have been hurt more than I should be. I work hard. I am dedicated. I AM PASSIONATE. I'm still not enough. I DESERVE THIS. I got here because I AM RIGHT FOR IT. But guess what? NOT ENOUGH.

Transfer

My team has been chosen to transfer to a WAAAAAYYYYYYYYY FAR company site for 4 weeks (can be extended) for 3,000 PHP more. Now I'm all for doing what needs to be done but I do not want an unhappy team. As I told the CM during my interview for supervisor, I will be my team's mother and as their mother I only want what is best for them. I got them to agree to go to that far site because our expectations were set that there are only 2 available schedules which are 3am and 6am but all of a sudden the team gets stuck on the 10 am shift and NOT EVEN WEEKENDS OFF! They are getting so inconvenienced, without PROPER compensation and the WFM won't even give a better schedule to accomodate their travel time? My schedule was arranged quickly but that does not mean I will stop lobbying for my kids. I myself will be spending 250 a day on gas PLUS great exhaustion with the move. NO CAN DO!

I have had the best 2 days of my month today and yesterday because I got to spend it all with my Danabear. She is such a sweetheart talaga and I am oh so very proud of her.

We're here at the office now waiting for my former LLAB agents to get off work. That should have been an hour ago but of course they have been asked to extend. One of my CET friends just told me how queuing it is. Kawawa naman my work kids. We also just found out that instead of being open team together, they have been dispersed which really sucks big time because they have been ao good together.

I have new LLAB agents na and they seem fine. I'm not liking the no questions being asked thing especially when they know they need help but still prefer to shut up. Hopefully we'll be more
comfortable with each other this week.

Tomorrow, thanks to my friends, I get to go back to the early morning shift I know and love. Sad thing is I don't get to be with LLAB 9 anymore but good thing is since I have been with LLAB 8 for as long as I've been with the former, I have also already bonded with them and so it'll be ok. Hubby and I are watching No Ordinary Family now. I like it. It's like The Incredibles in a TV series. :) I love days with my love. So relaxing!

In 2 days my love and I will be celebrating our 6th year anniversary. This is a first for him. He was not the type to stay in a relationship for a very long time. Everyone says I have reformed him to be quite a wonderful better half. It's not like I did it on my own. Sure I had a lot of headaches and heartaches and a lot of tears spent but he is all worth it. He has been so amazing to me and Danabear. It's good to know that my happily ever after will be with him.

Harry Potter 7 Part 1

We saw HP7 last night, of course we saw it on the first day of showing, hehehe, ako pa. Anyway, coding kami so I had to go to Shang before 3pm so that I could park the car there since we didn't really want to commute. Someone covered my shift as well so I had the whole day to rest!

I realized last night how much older I am getting. I was so irritated by the teenagers who I thought were of good breed since they looked like it. I get the excitement, I really do. But screaming everytime someone new is on screen? Talking loudly? Shouting out "BITCH" and peers applauding after? What the heck is wrong with them? Do they not have parents to tell them how to behave properly? I mean really!

Then those people who take seats that are not theirs. Kaya nga RESERVED seating e! Too bad you didn't get the good seats. Wag kayo mangistorbo ng iba na maaga nakapagpareserve! Mga walang modo! Mga bastos! GRRRRRRRRRRR!

I honestly don't know anymore what the qualifications are at work to get a mentoring position that will allow me to develop my skills. I mean, really, after finding out that in a 6 month report I end up number 1 in stack ranking I feel kinda depressed that I have not been asked to try my hand at something else. I have worked for it. I deserve it damn it! So what if those other people have been with the account longer? Is it really all about the longevity rather than the skills and knowledge. Don't get me wrong. I know they also have skills but I have PROVEN to be the best of the best have I not? I'm still currently the top ranked CET agent and I've only been with them for 2 months. And may I just reiterate: I AM NUMBER 1 AMONG 700 PLUS AGENTS WITHIN A 6 MONTH PERIOD! I have not even been with the company for a year and yet I am already an asset! Hello! I don't mean to sound so high and mighty, I am just so disappointed with how everything at work is going right now.

I have drafted my resignation which I fully intend to use if the company will not provide me the needed development that I need to advance further. I will get my due. If need be, I will look for a company who will nurture my talents even if it means I have to take a graveyard shift. I know how good I am and I know I can be this good anywhere I go, luckily I have a better half who is behind me all the way and provides so well for us that I am not pressured or trapped into staying in a job to earn needed income. I am free to find a place where I am going to be happy. I've always been happy with my job but lately, it has been one big confusion after another. I can't help but question the decisions made but I still respect and accept them I just hope this turns around soon because I would honestly hate to leave.

I've just reserved tickets to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 for first day of showing! So come Thursday at 6pm, hubby and I will be watching the first part of what will definitely be an excellent movie!

As always before watching a Harry Potter movie, I am reading through books 1 to 7 and will be watching the first 6 movies to refresh myself. I know. I have no life. Hahaha.

Has not been to work for the 3rd day now because of having no voice. It's only scratchy now but I need to rest so it won't relapse. I'm watching the latest Gossip Girl. Is this for real? Do ridiculously rich teenagers really draw up treaties? Anyway, the fashion never fails to amaze me!

I've decided I might just start reading the latest Nicholas Sparks novel later since I have time to do it today. Hubby has been so attentive and caring and I love how he sympathizes with how I feel these days. Anyway, I'll just finish my show now then clean my macbook.

Back at work waiting for a call to come in. It isn't everyday that the queu is not so busy so I'm taking advantage of it, instead of sitting idly by so I'll just blog!

So, how have I been? Busy. Way too busy. I hate it. I barely get to go out anymore because I'm too damn tired to be out. I usually just stay home and do my Charmed marathon. I am now on season 7, Leo has just fallen from grace and is mortal again. I've been having dreams about demons and whitelighters and witches and waking up laughing these days because of these dreams. It only means I watch too much right? I can't wait to go home and watch more! I'm back to my beloved 6am - 3pm shift with weekends off and am in my element but it seems that the FOH chose a Monday to be so freaking stupid! Hello! How hard is it to transfer really? Being CET is hard enough. We get the worst issues with the really angry clients and not an additional cent to show for it! We're not even allowed to have time adjustments, well, our team anyway for some reason. It baffles us because it is not our fault that the stupid stations here don't all work or are too damn slow! I try to focus mainly on the good things at work, like free airconditioning and friends who I love.

I'm worried about Lara and her daughter Yoanna, the little cutie has been sick for about a week now, I pray that it's nothing serious so that she'll be back to her adorable bouncing self again, she's too young to have such a thing as dengue, it's too scary to think of. Anyway, lunch is almost over. 3 more hours and I'm outta here again and back to my bed and Charmed marathon where I truly belong. LOL

At home trying to figure out what to do on another paid leave that I had plans for which didn't exactly push through. I was thinking of maybe just getting an SSS id but I don't want to put up with the long line. Besides, I have plans with a friend to work out in the office gym later after their shift is over. It's not like I really work out since all I do is cardio to improve my endurance but it beat the heck out of not doing anything right?

Hubby stuffed me last night with tuna carbonara that was so yummy I ate for 4 people! I also finally have my mini home office organized which I totally love and makes me feel so productive.

Workmates and I have plans to go to the beach soon so Im gonna go research on where to go.

I give extra patience to the elderly, simply because I know who to respect, but there comes a point where they go way past the limits.

You DO NOT subject kids to whatever quarrels adults have! Those are between the adults and using kids to send so-called disparaging messages is just out of fucking line! Give it the fuck up! We all know you are just using their mobile phones to text! Those kids are too damn good to say those things! Whose fault is it that you have a husband so fucking cruel to hurt you so much? That's HIS fault and yours as well for taking it for all of these years and not teaching him to treat you better! You are a fucking coward! Just because you are does not mean every other girl in this world should be! It does not mean that a girl who chooses to defend and fight for herself is a bad human being! Some girls have the guts to fight for what is right and you are delusional to think that you are the better person because you choose to suffer silently! Get up and stand for yourself so that you don't sit pathetically by waiting to be treated well!

I pity you. For having a husband so awful who hurts you physically and emotionally. For being scarred for life. For what you have become after all these years of being with him. I resent you for stooping so low as to drag kids into it. Right now, you are one of the worst people to walk the Earth because anyone who would not WANT and DO EVERYTHING he/she can to protect a child is unforgivable!

My shows are coming back one by one in addition to some new ones! The Vampire Diaries. Bones. The Mentalist. Hellcats. Glee. I just love this month!

I've finished one week as CEG at work and am not really looking forward to more. So queuing coz too many FOH are too damn lazy! I'm wondering if my team mate who is assigned for a weekend shift is doing okay. I was gonna go help out but I'm stuck in my daughter's volleyball game.

Anyway, I am kinda loving wireless broadband right now because I am not too bored here coz I get internet somehow and the speed is not too bad to be honest. I downloaded TVD in just 45 minutes so that's kinda cool.

Ugh! I'm getting sleepy!

Thursday and Friday were training days for the newly renamed Lap2 wave. Most of us applied for the posiition expecting 6-3 am schedule with weekends off which is why it came as a big surprise for all of us when we were asked to volunteer for mid shift and closing shift. Of course no one volunteered straight away. A friend of mine and I were excluded from the mid and closing shifts because we really can't because of personal things. This all happened Thursday.

The next day, another bomb. They need 3 people for weekend shift. I have already spoken with Boss Thina. I want to go back to Front of House if this schedule thing is forced on me. Atleast I get 8-5 with weekends off with my old team and I will so miss them anyway. We'll see how it goes first. For now I'm here at home watching Full House, I'll finish all 8 seasons hopefully, gosh the Olsen twins were soooooo cute!

Happy Birthday Danabear

Today is my daughter's 8th birthday. How time flies. She is growing to be such a wonderful person and I'm not only saying that coz I'm her mom. I'm saying it coz it's true and everybody says so. I'm going to her school today because she requested that I bring cake for her classmates and of course I am only too happy to oblige. Any excuse to be around her is good for me.

I gifted her with some books and she liked "The Charmseekers" particularly well and has asked me to buy her the rest of the series one by one so I plan to do that as soon as the mall opens up. I am also very happy to know that she is loving the music box I gave her. Now all we have to do is fill it up with jewelry!

Alright then, time to get ready to leave and make my Danabear a very happy birthday girl!

I myself am a parent but I never think that I am always right when it comes to KNOWING what is best for my child. Having the best intention does not make it right. I guess this is why parents who want their kids to obey them just because really annoy me. We are not with our kids 24/7, we DO NOT know everything they are feeling or everything that is happening in their lives, and YES they DO have lives that they live no matter how young they are. So we should not be too quick to judge. We should not force our decisions on them unless necessary.

I was chatting with my bestfriend one night and this subject came up and I told him: It is a parent's obligation to make sure to give their kids what they need and kids are in no way responsible of paying the parents back in any way. Now if a child does so anyway, then good for the parents. Our children did not choose to be in this world, WE DID. We do not have the right to ask for reimbursement of whatever hardship we went through for them.

When will all parents learn?

I totally love September. Not only is it my and my daughter's birth month but it is also the month where all my favorite shows season starters come on. It is the month where I get to go on a trip every weekend simply because it is my birth month.

I had a great start of the month! Hubby took me shopping. He bought me a couple of tops from Forever 21 and a brand new spanking pre dslr digicam! A sony dsc w310 which is cybershot and 12mp! I so love the pre birthday gifts!

I can't wait for Saturday coz Dana and I will be on our mom and daughter date. There's also the upcoming Palawan and Enchanted Kingdom trip. I am so lucky to have someone like hubby. Just so damn lucky. I love September!

Goodmorning

Had a really gooooooood morning. After our usual things when we wake up, hubby made me breakfast consisting of coffee and cheese dogs while I snuck in an episode of Gilmore Girls, which I'm still finishing now. Work is not until 8 and I don't have to leave until 7:30 coz work is like a 5 minute drive away.

Yesterday was a bad day at work. It's so unproductive to be sitting around for over 2 hours doing nothing. We seriously NEED to do something to make this better. Anyway, I need to get dressed for now so later.

When I found out yesterday that my request for someone to cover my shift today was approved I was elated. This means I have a total of 3 days off this week! I am so used to waking up early though so I still woke up at 6am just because I am so used it. I am now watching Gilmore Girls again. I started season 4 where Rory goes for her first day in Yale! Hubby didn't want to leave the house because he has been enjoying watching it as well. This show is just so witty and we so love the humor.

Anyway, yesterday was the OFFICIAL day 1 of my stint as callback SME. So I spent the first part of the day taking calls and the latter part waiting for callback requests. I don't think this process we are doing is quite effective but we are merely testing the waters for now and I'm sure we'll have a better process as soon as this testing period is done. I'll just request a meeting with the superiors to talk about my suggestions. I just checked the central email and saw that no one attended to the requests yesterday after my end of shift. Just one of the things we have to polish I guess. This will work, we will make it work to boost productivity.

Anyway, gotta go for now.

Because of a new system training, I get a split off this week (which by the way I don't get). So today I'm off. I've spent a bit of time trying to look for a place to go today. Baguio, Corregidor, Tagaytay, Manila Ocean Park and a Subic package were the places in mind. The Subic one is the best option but it was too late to sign up for a package so blech! Hubby did not approve Baguio. He then suggested that I just go somewhere where I'll get to be around one of the things I love most in the world. BOOKS. So I'll just finish 1 more episode of my Gilmore Girls then I'm off to get ready for my day of solitude.

Bored in Training

Being back in Manila hit me badly. I felt depressed as soon as I was sitting at home with the familiar smell of my room around me. I tried to cheer myself up by watching Gilmore Girls which I am starting over from scratch just coz I feel like it. I got myself drunk with the alcoholic left overs and went to sleep that night with a frown on my face.

The next day I had to work. My shift was 8-5 for the whole week supposedly. So I go to work and my boss found that I'm supposed to be in training for our new system which starts at 6am. So I'm late but I still go because I need to be trained ASAP. This is a good thing since I was still hung over. Meaning I got to go home relatively early after coming in quite late. I went home at 2. Slept til 7:30 then hubby took me out for some comfort food at Charlie's Grind and Grill. I ate the black angus burger which was sooooooo yummy and he had a chili dog. He also got me froyo and a frappe. I so appreciate how much he takes care of me.
